That's a great way to fish walleyes! Try fishing a jig along deep weedlines once the season opens and the weather warms up. When water temps rise, you'll be able to find some of the bigger walleyes deep (or in shallow water in very thick weeds)

I can not wait for walleye opener. I am a big fan of walleye fishing, so is my dad. we caught we think caught 15 walleyes last year at lake Ealt Gram. With just a leach, a little floater, a bell sinker and a trolling motor. Going aroun a sandy point and then around rocks an a little tree branches. That was the best season ever.
