We found 8 inches of good ice in the west Metro. Also saw a few smaller vehicles driving on that same ice. Not sure it's quite time yet. Be safe out there folks and be sure to pick up your Arctic Armor! !

Last night I snuck out on a local metro lake for some early ice fishing. I found 5 inches with some open spots still on the lake. Anybody been fishing any other lakes with a report on what they are finding? Oh yeah, we caught 10 walleyes. I love the early ice!!!
